The delivery of humanitarian resources to local government units (LGUs) in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) continues to augment relief goods for calamity victims.

About 800 family food packs are being readied for transport to Mountain Province during the day, she said.

The national operations center of the DSWD also sent 1,700 relief items to Cordillera as an augmentation to the regional supply.

Aplaten said these supplies are on top of the pre-positioned items delivered to the warehouses managed by the local government units before landfall of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name Trami).

“All is good. We have sufficient relief items at our regional warehouse and the different hubs in the provinces,” she said.
