The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has launched a special doorstep delivery service to bring the world-famous Guimaras mangoes directly to consumers in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu.
In a news release on Wednesday, the PHLPost said the initiative is in time with the celebration of the ongoing Manggahan Festival 2026 which runs from May 15 until May 24.
Through a partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Guimaras Mango Growers and Producers Development Cooperative, the project aims to boost local agricultural products while providing direct market support to mango farmers and producers in the island province.
“We are proud to help bring the pride of Guimaras to Filipino homes through efficient and dependable delivery services,” the PHLPost said in a statement.
To place an order, customers may visit the official website at mangoestometro.com, fill out the required delivery and quantity details, and settle the payment using the standardized QR Ph network.
Buyers are required to upload a screenshot of their transaction receipt on the platform to confirm their orders.
The logistics service handles premium Guimaras mangoes packed in 5-kilogram boxes, which are available at flat rates inclusive of delivery.
Customers with delivery addresses in Metro Manila can purchase a box for PHP1,600, while those in Metro Cebu can order for PHP1,500.
The PHLPost assured customers that shipments would be handled efficiently to preserve the quality of the fresh produce, with an expected delivery turnaround time of three to seven business days.
It noted that it continues to expand its mandate beyond traditional mail delivery to empower local enterprises and make premium domestic goods more accessible to the public. (PNA)
