The selected women from the Philippines have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and leadership, earning them a spot among the influential figures recognized by Forbes Asia.

Here are the five accomplished Pinays featured in Forbes Asia’s ’50 Over 50′ list:

1. Miriam Coronel-Ferrer – Peace Negotiator, Philippines

Retired professor and renowned Peace Negotiator, Miriam Coronel-Ferrer, stood out for her pivotal role during the country’s fight against martial law in the 1970s. Forbes recognizes her as a frontliner in peace talks, participating in the 2014 Comprehensive Agreement on Bangsamoro and co-founding the Southeast Asian Women Peace Mediators.

3. Anna Ma. Margarita Dy – President-CEO, Ayala Land, Philippines

Breaking barriers, Anna Ma. Margarita Dy emerged as the first female CEO of Ayala Land, the country’s second-largest property developer. 4. Susan Co – Co Founder-Vice Chair, Puregold, Philippines

Susan Co, part of the power couple behind Puregold, the Philippines’ affordable supermarket chain, secures her place in the ’50 Over 50′ list.
