A pandemic is probably the last thing a couple would want to deal with when they are starting a family, especially when both are medical frontliners. This Saturday (June 27), “Juan Love: Pag-ibig sa Panahon ng Pandemya” shares the story of spouses Donna and Jay and how they soldier on to raise a family amid COVID-19.

Donna and Jay are both nurses based in New Zealand. They already planned to have children, but Donna had a miscarriage.

Donna got pregnant again. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened. What was supposed to be a happy pregnancy for Donna became a chapter in her life shrouded with fear and worry. As a nurse, Jay is taking care of COVID-19 positive patients while Donna needs to stay home since she is highly susceptible to the virus.

How will they face together the uncertainties brought about by this pandemic?
