Pinoys continue to soar high even in the field of Esports as a team from the Philippines, and a lone Filipino online game player gets nominated for the Esports Awards.
Composed of teams and players from different countries, the Philippines is set to make a name for another award-giving body as the team ECHO got nominated to become the ‘Esports team of the year’ while Filipino player Frederic ‘Bennyqt’ Gonzales gets a nomination spot for the ‘Esports mobile player of the year.’
This is the first time that the ECHO got a nomination and recognition from an international award-giving body, as the team also won at the M4 World Championship grand finals after showing exceptional talent in playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Frederic ‘Bennyqt’ Gonzales, on the other hand, is part of the ECHO team, which is currently the gold lane for the team.
Bennyqt is known for his outstanding performance in Mobile Legends, noting its awards such as Most Valuable Player and Knockout Stage Day 1 during the M4 World Championship.

The voting for its nominees is now open and will end on November 20, while the awarding session will be from November 29 to 30 in Las Vegas.
