United States of America has chosen their new president, and they went for Joe Biden.

One of the most nail-biting elections ever, Biden has beaten current President Donald Trump by 76 Electoral Votes, gaining 290 and 214 respectively.

Biden took lead in states such as Arizona, California, Colorado, and Washington. On the other hand,Trump has managed to win in Nebraska, Idaho, Texas, and Utah.

In total, Biden has garnered a total of 75,193,022 votes making him the presidential candidate with the highest votes in the United States history. Meanwhile, Trump ended the race with 70,804,968.

Biden will take office on January 20, 2021. Before he was the 46th and oldest President, he was a Senator from 1973 to 2009. He was eventually elected as the Vice President to then-President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017
