Most parts of the archipelago will experience warm and humid weather, as easterlies continue to affect the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, a weather specialist said Thursday.

Ariel Rojas of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies will prevail over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region.

These areas may experience occasional heavy rains, he added.

Luzon and the rest of the country will experience warm and humid weather, but thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon or at night.

Light to moderate winds will prevail over Luzon, where coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Over the Visayas and Mindanao, winds will be light with slight coastal waters.

Rojas said PAGASA does not see any weather disturbance that may develop or enter the country in the next three to five days. (PNA)
