First-Ever Pinoy Animated Film On Netflix ‘Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story’ Is Out Now

Netflix has finally launched its first Filipino animated film titled, “Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story”.

The adult comedy film is lead by Angelica Panganiban, Sam Milby, and Robin Padilla.

The rom-com sets Panganiban as Nimfa who sells perfume in a department store; Padilla as Roger and Nimfa’s boyfriend, who works as a janitor; and Milby as Inigo Villanueva, a “bourgeoisie business dog” who will make their relationship complicated.

Among the things you should look forward to are the countless animal references, especially to famous brands and places. Upon seeing the movie, make sure to catch luxury brands Purrada, Bullgari, and Chownel.

Kapamilya artists including Empoy Marquez, Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, Eugene Domingo, Yeng Constantino, Moira dela Torre, and Bb. Joyce Bernal are also be included in the film.

“Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story” is directed by Avid Liongoren and produced by Piolo Pascual. Its production is under Rocketsheep Studio, which also produced live-action animated film “Saving Sally” and blockbuster film “Kita Kita”. It streams on Netflix starting October 29.
