First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos on Thursday led the launch of “Lab For All: Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat” at Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City on Thursday.

The project provides free medical services to thousands of residents in Pasay, ensuring that every citizen has equitable access to quality healthcare as mandated by Republic Act No. 11223, the Universal Health Care Act.

The Lab For All project underscores President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s unwavering commitment to making healthcare accessible to all.

This initiative is a powerful collaboration among the Office of the President, the First Lady, the Pasay City Local Government Unit, and government agencies, including the Department of Health, Social Welfare and Development, and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).

The Lab For All caravan delivers a comprehensive range of free medical services, including:

  • Laboratory Tests: Blood tests, urine tests, and essential laboratory procedures.
  • Consultations: Free consultations with leading physicians across various specialties, including pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, and general medicine.
  • Medicines: Free distribution of essential medications to those who require them.
  • Dental Services: Basic dental checkups and treatments without any cost.
  • Minor Surgeries: Complimentary minor surgical procedures for eligible patients.

Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano expressed that the Lab For All Project is a defining moment for Pasay City.

“I am extending my deepest gratitude to President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. and First Lady Marcos for bringing the Lab For All project to our community. This initiative will drastically improve access to healthcare for our residents, especially the most vulnerable. These initiatives will build a healthier and more vibrant Pasay,” Calixto-Rubiano said.

Calixto-Rubiano also asserted that the Lab For All project is a decisive step toward realizing the goals of the Universal Health Care Act, which prioritizes quality and affordable healthcare for every Filipino.

As a staunch advocate for healthcare rights, First Lady Araneta Marcos is dedicated to advancing the healthcare system in the country, fortifying public health and safety for the benefit of every Filipino.

The Lab For All caravan has already provided free medical services to communities in Batangas, Zambales, and Bulacan, benefiting thousands of Filipinos, particularly indigents.

This initiative also stands as a testament to President Marcos’ resolute stance on strengthening and elevating the health sector, which he identifies as a critical pillar for building a more resilient nation.
