While some countries are slowly reopening their borders to tourists, you might have thought about planning your next trip to Hawaii already because why not? Hawaii has spectacular beaches and most of us are craving for some Vitamin See due to cancelled plans caused by the pandemic.

So, if you’re one of those considering of going there, hold that thought just yet because Governor David Ige of Hawaii has resorted back to its restriction due to an increase in their COVID-19 cases.

In a recent Facebook post by Ige, he mentioned that the quarantine period in Hawaii will be extended until September 30. Once that becomes happens, 14-day mandatory quarantine period will be in place for all out of state travelers and intern island travelers.

Moreover, incoming tourists should also present a negative COVID-19 test that was conducted less than 72 hours upon travelling.

With that said, keep your hopes up to that postponed Hawaii trip as it will still be there after all of this is over. At least until everything goes back to normal―or new normal―we have to fully cooperate with the restrictions and measures to flatten the curve across the globe.
