“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” shattered its own online viewership record for the second consecutive night as the action-packed series confirmed the death of Ivana Alawi’s character in the July 30 (Tuesday) episode that also earned multiple trending topics.

The Coco Martin-led series breached the 600,000 mark for the first time ever as it logged a new all-time high record of 610,927 peak concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube.

Viewers were emotional as the heartbreaking episode featured Tanggol (Coco) grieving next to the lifeless body of Bubbles (Ivana), who was mercilessly shot by David (Mccoy De Leon). Prior to the death of Bubbles, Tanggol figured in an all-out gun fight as he tried to hunt down the group that killed Bubbles.

Celso (Soliman Cruz), Bubbles’ adoptive grandfather, also wasn’t spared from the shootout as he met his demise in the hands of David.
