Filipino pop idol JL Gaspar returned to the Philippines on Feb. 2 for an upcoming thanksgiving fan event on Feb. 16, following his victory for winning first place in the K-pop survival reality TV show “Universe League” last month.

With the theme “Just Love”, the thanksgiving fan gathering will be held at Robinsons Magnolia Activity Center at 3pm, where fans can attend and participate for free.

Agency Show Biz Town (SBTown) made the announcement on Sunday, Feb. 9, to thank all the fans who have been supporting JL throughout his journey as an artist.

“Hello! Thank you so much for your amazing love and support. To show my appreciation, I would love to meet you and thank you in person,” JL wrote in the announcement.
JL will debut in AHOF (All-time Hall of Famer) under F&F Entertainment in the first half of the year.

His win succeeds that of UNIS’s Filipino members Gehlee Dangca and Elisia Parmisano, who triumphed in “Universe Ticket”, the show’s previous season, and KATSEYE’s Filipino member Sophia Laforteza, who won “The Debut: Dream Academy”.

Before joining the competition in November 2024, JL debuted in Filipino boy band PLUUS in 2023.
