TFC and livestreaming mobile application Kumu offer relief to the weary hearts of overseas Filipinos via Stand Up For Laughs on Kumu. It’s an overseas Filipino standup comedy meant to put a smile on our modern-day heroes’ faces amidst the pandemic. From Australia, New Zealand and Guam to Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia, audiences will find the humor and banter so relatable as comedians feature scenarios that truly hits home for Pinoys living abroad.

Director Alex Calleja shares during the show’s launch that whereas they usually write materials from their own experiences, Stand Up For Laughs required more from them in terms of exploration while staying faithful to their mission: bringing laughter to overseas Filipinos. “Lumabas kami sa comfort zone namin, nilagayan ng konting storytelling na hindi lumalayo sa reality,” he says.

Now more than ever, allow your Kapamilya to calm your nerves and be your source of laughter. TFC’s first-ever original standup comedy series can now be watched LIVE and FOR FREE by Kumu users until May 5 with the following schedule streaming an hour each:

Orca – April 25, & May 2
Yuki – April 26, & May 5
Ramon Cabochan – April 27, & May 4
Alex Calleja – April 28, & May 5
*Plus, observe the 10 A.M. Hahahahabit from Saturdays to Tuesdays.
