Grammy Awards, the most prestigious awards show in the music industry, released the 2020 nominations on Wednesday.
This year, the women emerged as they achieve milestones from here and there: Lizzo feels good as hell right now after receiving 8 nods from the committee; Billie Eilish becomes the youngest Grammy Nominee to be in the 4 major categories (Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist); while Billboard’s first-ever Woman of the Decade Taylor Swift gets 3 (Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album).
In addition, R&B songstress Alicia Keys becomes the 3rd woman and 1st female artist to host the show twice as she returns this year.
