Humanity was restored again when an anonymous customer asked GrabFood delivery rider, Markgianlyn Berdan, to give away 30 pieces of burger to needy individuals on the road and keep the remaining 5 pieces for him and his family.

“Kuya hindi mo na kailangan pumunta d2 (dito) yung 30pcs ng burger pamigay mo along the way dyan sa mga nasa kalsada na nagugutom tapos yung 5pcs pa na burger iuwi sa pamilya mo”, the anonymous customer said through text on Monday, November 23.

Berdan was a bit skeptical at first, asking “siryoso talaga kau maam baka ma report ako maam” as the text may be an attempt to troll him. But the customer said that he/she does the deed every time and that there was nothing to worry about.

As a precautionary measure and for transparency, he took pictures of himself giving the burgers to random people on the street, then sent the images to the anonymous customer.

The anonymous good samaritan said that there was no need for pictures or proof because he/she trusts him. Both of them said thanks to each other when Berdan finished dropping the goods.

Later on at 9:52 PM, Berdan logged on to his Facebook account to post the heartwarming incident during the day which included pictures of their whole conversation. The post went viral, gathering 9.4k reacts and 8.8k shares. Netizens showered the comments section with kind words out of sheer delight.
