Any animal lover would be in awe of an 8-year-old child from Agusan Del Sur who brings home stray animals at a very young age.

Vhroy brought home a total of 13 stray animals, 7 dogs, and 6 cats. With his family’s support, they bathed, fed, and played with the little furries at home.

Through the Animal Kingdom Foundation, Vhroy’s mother shared that she already knows when Vhroy comes home with another rescue.

“Akala ko kung ano ang nginingiti pagdating, may inuwi na naman palang pusa,” she said.

In helping their family to continue nurturing the animals, she asks the public, with the help of the Animal Kingdom Foundation, for donations of animal goods.

Some of the goods that can be donated are rice, dewormers, anti-tick and flea products, vitamins, and crates that can withstand floods. Sponsorship for cat and dog neuters is also appreciated.

Netizens commented that Vhroy might become a future animal rescuer, and some also said that the family’s support of Vhroy’s advocacy is the right way to teach children how to care for animals, especially stray ones.

“Sarap tingnan ang ngiting ng isang bata na walang halong kaplastikan. Good job undoy,” a netizen commented.

With Vhroy’s compassion for stray animals, he became an inspiration not only to children but also to adults to help these creatures have a safe place. Because, just like humans, they deserve to receive care and love.
