PROPAK Philippines, the biggest packaging and processing trade event in the country, returns on its second year at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on Feb. 5 – 7, 2020.
Apart from showcasing the latest tech and innovations in manufacturing, packaging and processing, the 3-day B2B exhibition will mount seminars on food safety. They are as follows:
“Food-Packaging Interactions Influencing Quality and Safety” by the Philippine Association of Food Technologists, Inc. (PAFT) on
on Feb 7, 10 to 11:30 a.m; “Food Safety and Overview of Environmental Monitoring Program” by the Food Safety Trends Magazine Philippines on Feb 6, 1 to 2 pm, and Food Allergen Management in the Food Industry on Feb 7, from 1 to 2 pm,
ProPak Philippines will also host various workshops in manufacturing and packaging led by government agencies and manufacturing and business associations, such as Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) with its Packaging Technology Division (PTD), the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP), the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), the Philippine Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, and the Active and Intelligent Packaging Industry Association (AIPIA).
The debut of ProPak Philippines drew more than 300 exhibitors from 30 countries, and more than 9,000 attendees who were presented with the latest in packaging technologies, supply chain management, and other processing operations for food processing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), agro-industries, cosmetics, and many more.
ProPak Philippines’ 2nd edition is expecting to have 12,000 international and local visitors and 450 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions.
ProPak Philippines 2020 is supported by the DTI, the DOST, the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP), PAFT, Inc., the Dairy Confederation of the Philippines (DairyCon), the PPMA, PROMAP, the Philippine Printing Technical Foundation (PPTF) and Association of Laguna Food Processors Inc.
