Two employees from KCC Mall of Gensan have been awarded for their good deeds, honesty, and quick action.

Ibrahim Habie and Ivan Lampak, all working at the mall, found and returned a significant sum of money that had been inadvertently left behind by a customer.

The incident occurred at the Security Bank ATM located in the basement of KCC Mall. The customer had attempted to withdraw cash but left in frustration when the ATM failed to dispense the money. Shortly after the customer departed, the cash unexpectedly appeared from the machine.

Upon discovering the money, the two employees — Habie and Lampak — immediately realized the importance of their find. They made an effort to track down the customer to return the cash but were unsuccessful in locating them.

In a commendable act of responsibility, the trio promptly handed over the cash, amounting to Php *0,000, to the TEU (Traffic Enforcement Unit) office at the mall.

PMAJ Oliver S. Pauya, who shared the news on August 24, 2024, praised the employees for their actions, commending their role as exemplary citizens and community members.

In recognition of their honesty, Habie and Lampak were awarded a Good Deed Certificate by the TEU General Santos City Police Office. This award highlights their exemplary behavior and dedication to public service.

The TEU office at KCC Mall of Gensan is actively looking for the owner of the lost cash. The office is open to assist with the retrieval process and ensure the funds are returned to their rightful place.
